The firms’ financial services practice area, engages highly experienced, meticulous finance lawyers that assure delivery of sophisticated levels of service, on par with that which clients in the field are accustomed to.
We provide distinctly specialized advice on complex projects to lenders and borrowers, insurers and fintech companies alike, and help financial institutions navigate the intricate regulatory framework that governs the financial services sector.
Our lawyers have directly experienced the explosive surge of the Romanian loan market driven by the fast-growing real estate sector and assisted clients through several challenging years. With a now stabilized and re-invigorated financial market firmly in place, we are excited to be involved in promising new deals.
We have extensive experience in dealing with local or multi-jurisdictional projects, at both ends of the table – our lawyers have assisted lenders and borrowers in the financing of landmark residential, commercial and industrial developments alike and have dealt with complex issues on acquisition finance, side by side with our dynamic M&A team. When, for some players in the market, projects took an unfortunate turn, our lawyers were there to assist with the sale of large NPL portfolios and helped their clients with bringing new life to previously failed projects.
Our team has an in depth understanding of financial issues which form the basis of our ability to untangle complex regulatory matters, ensuring our clients’ full compliance with the applicable rules.
