Lorena Stefania Stanciu

Lorena joined our team in the spring of 2020 and she is a member of our Employment practice area.

In the field of employment law, most of Lorena’s work revolves around advising clients in drafting and reviewing employment agreements, top management agreements, reviewing services agreements in terms of reclassification, employee handbooks and individual or collective dismissal decisions. She also took part in several negotiations with employees in a collective dismissal process.

Her expertise on immigration has also evolved significantly, particularly in assisting clients with obtaining work permits for non-UE citizens. Moreover, Lorena also advised clients in obtaining Romanian citizenship.

She is a dedicated and punctual lawyer, a fast learner and maybe the most relevant – very passionate about the employment field.

Before joining our team, Lorena gained important dispute resolution experience with another Romanian law firm, especially in the fields of civil and commercial litigation, banking and insolvency-related disputes. On the transactional side, Lorena’s consultancy activity included assisting clients in corporate matters and sensitive employment-related issues. 

Lorena graduated from University of Craiova’s Faculty of Law in 2016, and in 2017 gained a Master’s Degree in Criminal Sciences from the same University.

Lorena is a member of the Bucharest Bar and the Romanian Bar Association since March 2019.
