Mădălina joined us as an Associate in the fall of 2017, having graduated from the University of Bucharest’s Faculty of Law and being admitted to the Bucharest Bar. She had previously completed an internship at the firm and had worked for us as a paralegal.
Her paralegal work with us enabled her to develop significant experience in a variety of business and commercial areas.
She has assisted clients with competition matters, developing a passion for data protection along the way having been involved in numerous projects on mapping of personal data processing.
She has also been involved in drafting legal opinions, recommendations and documents related to various aspects of data protection, such as the obligation to notify the National Data Protection Agency in accordance with national data protection provisions regarding data transfer.
Mădălina is also involved in solving complex client problems that occur in the process of complying with the provisions of the new General Data Protection Regulation.
Whilst working for us, she is also pursuing a Masters degree at the University of Bucharest in business law with a focus on competition law. She has also completed a variety of other internships and is fluent in English, both written and spoken.
