Boosting our team with a new Managing Associate

Stratulat Albulescu just got stronger, adding Laura Neacsu, to its’ already impressive list of lawyers.

Laura, a successful, dynamic young lawyer, joined the firm at the beginning of October to strengthen the Real Estate team with her leadership skills and extensive legal experience.

With over 10 years of experience, Laura has extensive expertise in real estate and construction law, advising on the expansion of major players in the retail and construction sector. Her special focus is on town planning and construction law, as well as industrial and office building leases. Particularly skilled in drafting and negotiating sale and purchase agreements over land and buildings, real estate developments and construction contracts, she has also conducted and coordinated legal due diligence on land and industrial premises.

She has dealt with the highly regulated energy field, including advising on business structures and project implementation, as well as assisting investors in setting-up wind, photovoltaic, hydro and bio-gas plants from Greenfield to operation. During her employment as coordinator of the Energy Practice Group within a top tier international law firm, Laura assisted medium and large investors and electricity producers with drafting and negotiating power supply and power purchase contracts and grid connection agreements, as well as with negotiating contracts for the supply of equipment and the building of large transformer stations.

Over the years, Laura has also worked on complex matters involving corporate and M&A law, mainly assisting large groups of German companies with their market entry or exit. Laura has also advised major retail companies and electricity producers on complex aspects associated with the environmental issues related to land and buildings.

Laura joins our German Desk as a native level German speaker having spent time during her studies in Osnabruck, Germany.  She is also fluent in English and Spanish.

In addition to Laura Neacsu, we have also added 4 new associates to further strengthen the firm: Mihail Cotes joined the Real Estate team, Madalina Tambrea joined the Litigation team, Bogdan Florea joined the Employment team and Alina Nistor joined the Corporate and M&A team.
