Our Data Protection team wins the first Global Hackathon organized in Romania

Our Data Protection team claim victory at the First Global Legal Hackathon organised in Romania.

Stratulat Albulescu is thrilled to announce that our Data Protection team won the Product Focus Special Award at the Global Legal Hackathon, which took place in Romania for the first time.

The Global Legal Hackathon is an event that tasks software developers, legal industry professionals, entrepreneurs, students, programmers and legal professionals, to work together to create solutions to drive the future of law through innovative legal technology. Specifically, the event’s purpose was for programmers and lawyers to succeed in building technical solutions to legal issues.

The competition was attended by Cristiana Fernbach, SAA Counsel and the team mentor, as well as by the Data Protection team itself comprising Elena Stan, Madalina Spataru and Catalina Finaru, all associates with our firm. The team won the award by outlining an application idea that focuses on the new GDPR Data Protection Regulations.
