Stratulat Albulescu advises Momentum Capital S.R.L. on the acquisition of Facilitec Services S.R.L., a reputed boutique facility & property management company

A team of lawyers led by Partner Ramona Iancu successfully advised the Romanian entrepreneur David Canta, who is also the managing director and shareholder of the Romanian arm of the global commercial real estate firm, Avison Young, on the acquisition of Facilitec Services SRL, a reputed boutique facility & property management company, part of the Spanish group Mantor.

The Spanish Group Facilitec entered the Romanian market in 2007 when it established its Romanian branch and entrusted management to Diego Stuyck. Mr. Stuyck along with two other partners bought the Romanian branch in 2015 and developed it further to become one of the top 10 players in the facility & property management market having managed dozens of premium and luxury residential projects as well as a series of office buildings.

Through this acquisition, David Canta aims at expanding his Group’s offering in the Real Estate Sector with property and facility services, essential in the highly competitive Bucharest market.

In 2018, Facilitec posted €1.4 million turnover and the estimates for 2019 show a turnover of about €1.9 million, up by 35 percent compared to 2018. At the time of sale, Facilitec had a team of more than 30 employees.
